About eFoil.nl.

Who we are

eFoil.nl is made by the Redactie eFoil.nl editorial team, from within the Dutch eFoil community. That community came together in a WhatsApp group and on Instagram, with riders from beginners to racers. On this site we combine their experience with the official rules, so you don't have to piece everything together yourself.

What you will find here

• All about eFoiling: questions and answers about licences, registration, speed limits, safety, gear and buying.
• Spots: places in the Netherlands where eFoilers ride, with tips from the community.
• Radar: eFoil news, racing and gear, with what it means for riders in the Netherlands.
• Stories: rides and lessons from riders in the community.

How we work

• We base rules on official sources, such as the Dutch government and the RDW. Those answers include the source and the date they were last checked.
• Every Radar article is based on a source that we name. We do not publish news without a source.
• Prices are indications. When in doubt, we say so.
• We only publish community stories with the riders’ permission.

Independent

Brands and shops do not pay to be mentioned on eFoil.nl. Flysurf is a community partner: they help with events and races. Links to shops and brands contain a tag so they can see you came via eFoil.nl; we do not earn anything from it.
