eFoil Racing: an app to track your sessions
A free app by a team of international pro eFoilers: track your sessions, see where you can improve and set out your own course if you like.

Want to know how far and how fast you rode today, and whether you’re getting better? That’s what eFoil Racing is for: an app to track your eFoil sessions. Despite the name, it’s mainly made for people who simply enjoy riding, not just for racers.
Who’s behind it?
The app was developed by the eFoil Racing Team and eFoil Racing Official. The team consists of four international pro eFoilers: Manel Arpa Zuriguel, Antti Koskinen, Carmine Statiano and Dutch rider Piet Varkevisser, whom you may know from the 202.9 kilometres down the Danube.
What does the app do?
The app uses GPS to record your session: where you rode, how far and how fast. While riding you see your speed and average on a clean screen. Afterwards you can review your rides, with speed graphs, your top speed and a heat map of your route.
Improve based on your own data
After a few weeks you’ll see for yourself whether you’re progressing. The Coach helps: after a session it shows where you gain or lose time and speed, and gives concrete tips for next time. That way you get better at eFoiling step by step.
Riding together
The community section shows friends’ rides, lets you follow someone live and plan a session together. It also lists spots, such as Valkenburgse Meer, Katwijk and Vlietlanden, and you can join a club run by your dealer or riding group, with monthly challenges and leaderboards.
Set out your own course
Fancy a challenge? You can place buoys on the map for your own course, such as a triangle or a slalom. The app detects your laps automatically. efoil.racing also describes the Speedtrack, a standard course that lets you compare your lap times with riders worldwide. Organisers can run races through the app too.
What does it cost?
The app is free for iPhone (iOS 16.6 or later) and is in English. There’s an optional yearly Pro subscription with, among other things, the full session map viewer, CSV and GPX export and extra course tools. An Android version is ready as a first test version and will be tested soon.
What does this mean for you?
Do you ride regularly and want to see how you’re progressing? This is an easy way to keep track. If you set out a course or go for speed, mind the speed rules of your lake. Check the spot map for a suitable place.
