The final stop of 2026 was Menton, on the French Riviera. Lift Foils followed its race team there with a camera: the course, the finals and how the season ended.

The 2026 world champions

Over the full season, Manel Arpa became world champion in the men’s division and Agnes Wicander in the women’s. And that’s where the Netherlands comes in: Laura Jil Kurmann finished as vice world champion in the pro women’s division. You may know her from the story about the eFoil ride to Formentera. Dutch rider Piet Varkevisser also races for the Lift team.

Earlier this season, Lift and the LIFTX also took the podium at an event on Lake Garda.
